Every library has an ILS, and every job ad asks for experience with Integrated Library Systems. So where is your own catalog where you can be wild and crazy? Coming right up.

Open source integrated library systems like Koha bring personal ILS installations within the reach of anyone with access to a server and system administration expertise. Since not everyone has the resources, times, or inclination to set up Koha for themselves, C & P Bibliography Services offers a hosted personal catalog solution called DaredevILS. DaredevILS provides a complete catalog to librarians and library students to allow them to familiarize themselves with the cutting edge of library technology.

A limited number of DaredevILS installations are available on a pro bono basis to librarians and library students in the United States on a first-come, first-served basis. For more details, please see the DaredevILS website, or register your interest by filling out the form below with your name, e-mail address and what you would like to call your catalog (up to eight letters or numbers, starting with a letter).
